 The Program

The Ideal You weight loss program is an FDA approved medical protocol.  The protocol consists of over 50 great tasting, gourmet protein foods. The protocol is simple; eliminate carbohydrate / sugar stores and the body must burn fat for energy. This is done by reducing calorie dense, nutrient poor carbohydrate foods with highly nutritious, bio-available protein isolates and amino acids. The protocol is quick, easy and most importantly, healthy. You eat real food!

In the body, carbohydrates are immediately converted to sugar causing the pancreas to make insulin. Insulin can be considered the master hormone in charge of doing one thing very well… Depositing fat. Give the pancreas a chance to rest, reduce the insulin pool, and weight falls off.

Phase 1: The Foundation

f19The Foundation is core of the program. Patients begin to learn which grocery foods will help achieve their weight goals while maintaining the program’s protein-fortified protocol. The Foundation is followed until patients reach 90% of their goal and gently re-educates patients how to eat appropriately for a lifetime of healthy weight

 

 

Phase 1: Fast Track Option

f20The Fast Track is the most popular and successful weight loss program lasting only three weeks. During this initial period, most patients can expect to shed 9-15 lbs. After the second week, Fast Trackers typically report a noticeable increase in energy, begin to understand the importance of frequent, small meals and really begin to experience noticeable weight loss results.

 

Phase 2: The Approach

f22Patients are very near their Ideal weight. They have lost the craving for high carb foods and learn how to better shop for groceries. During this phase, patients begin to reintroduce meals of their choosing for a minimum of 2 weeks and until the goal weight is reached predetermined by you. 

 

 

Phase 3:  Reintroduction

f24During this critical 14 day period, patients begin to reintroduce healthy carbohydrates and fats. Congratulations! You’ve done it!

 

 

Phase 4:  Maintenance

f26The truth is, our weight does fluctuate. Life happens!
